VASE

This vase, circa roughly 2004, was lovingly (yet quickly) designed as an object for use in FluidMedia's Virtual Museum. Its shape is reminiscent of vases and similar containers of the real world, except its creation and existence lie in a digital domain, devoid of physical presence and substance. However, it is this lack of substantial being that puts this particular vase in, for all intents and purposes, an invulnerable state. Unlike its real-world counterparts, it is neither fragile to the touch, nor is it particularly prone to the effects of gravity.

In curious summation, it is a vase, but it is also -- not a vase.
